How does AI size recommendation work?

The shopper answers 3–4 short questions (height, weight, fit preference) or uploads a photo. GarmCheck estimates their body measurements, matches them against your product's size chart, and recommends a single size with a confidence band. No manual tape-measure input required.

What measurements does GarmCheck detect?

From a photo: chest, waist, hips, inseam, shoulder width, torso length, arm length and height. From manual entry: height, chest circumference and waist circumference.

How accurate is the size recommendation?

On brands with a clean size chart, GarmCheck recommends the correct size for the shopper 88–92% of the time on first purchase — measured against post-purchase return data. Accuracy improves per-brand over time as the model learns from your actual returns.

Does it work without a photo?

Yes. The questionnaire flow takes under 15 seconds and works fully without a photo — important for shoppers who don't want to upload one. Photo-based recommendations are more accurate on non-standard body shapes, but the questionnaire covers ~85% of shoppers well.

What size charts does it support?

Any size chart you already have. Upload as CSV, paste from Shopify metafields, or let GarmCheck auto-import from your product pages. Supports numeric (28, 30, 32), letter (XS–XXL), regional (UK/US/EU), and split waist × inseam charts. Custom per-product overrides are supported.

How does it integrate with Klaviyo?

Every size recommendation event is streamed to Klaviyo as a custom event with the recommended size, confidence, product ID, and shopper identifier. Use it to trigger abandoned-cart flows, size-based product suggestions, or post-purchase fit follow-ups. Setup is a single API key paste.
